    I am more than a little proud to add this rather elusive Høvik 982 to my small collection. It turned up for sale locally, which was fortunately caught by one of my saved searches. The next morning it was in a box on my passenger seat. It is marked AT which indicates a 1954 production.
    It is cleaning up very nicely, mantles, seals on order. More photos to follow.

    Nice, a lovely looking lantern. You've done well to get hold of it. I look forwards to seeing more photographs.

    @Mr P

    Welcome to the forum.

    It just goes to show there are still sought after lanterns out there waiting to be found.

    Good luck with the fettle and please post to let us know how you have fared.

    Regards Jeremy
