I was just wondering around in a topic ans wanted to go back up.
Well that was a way up. never noticed I was far down in a topic.

So here is an idea: is it possible to get a "Way up" button at the right site ? You push it, and up you go to the top of the page.

My tablets of the Android persuasion but if I do a rapid stroke up or down the page scrolls after my finger leaves the screen

    From google:
Android - To scroll down very fast, glide your finger upward quickly and release it from the screen. The process of scrolling up is the same as scrolling down, but in reverse. Simply glide your finger downward to vertically scroll upward.

Ipad - Tap once at the very top of the screen to scroll all the way back to the beginning. When you're ready to return to the top of the page, tap once at the very top of the screen. If you tapped the correct location, iOS will quickly zap you to the very top of the page

And if you are at the end of the post click or tap the word Top at the end of the blue line . It will take you to the top of the page.

@ROBBO55 ...... that’s so bloody obvious that I didn’t see it, thanks mate. As @X246A said, it’s like instructions, not many read them until there is a problem.....usually caused by not reading the instructions

It's much easier to see on a good size monitor. It tends to hide on a phone screen.
