    I also get hold of one of these. However, I need a glass and a mantle. Where can I go and find these items?

    A Cadac or most 300cp straight globes will work.
    @phaedrus42 should be able to help with mantles.

    Possibly from the 70s. As with many others from Hong Kong, it could be as early as the 60s but not too likely for the Aeroplane brand.
    From the 80s onwards, the progress and development in Hong Kong had been rather rapid and the cost of manufacture and living certainly rocketed. I'd say most of the manufacturing would have been phased-out or shifted elsewhere by then.
