    G'day all,

I have been told that the International Coleman Collectors Club (ICCC) has released a book, written by Herb Ebondorf, that covers the Coleman Company history from 1900 to 1989. I'm super excited for the immense number of Coleman collectors that will finally have the Coleman Company history immortalised, at least for the first 89 years.

Herb Ebendorf comes highly acclaimed by Neil Macrae / Mackburner. From memory, Mr Ebondorf worked for the Coleman Company for some 40 years and I believe he was their historian. I believe the book was made fit for print by two other Coleman history heavyweights in Darcy Vantiger and Dr Terry Marsh. Perhaps CPL's @Mackburner had some input? The book should be epic and hopefully will provide some never before known information but most of all, a continuous accurate account of the Coleman history from 1900 to 1989.

I don't believe the book will be sold retail, it is a free benefit of joining the ICCC in 2020.

Congratulations to the ICCC on producing the book and to those mentioned and anyone not mentioned, that helped make the book possible.

I just got the latest ICCC magazine and haven’t read it yet, guess I’d better.

Nothing to do with me this one. I had some very minor input to the Coleman Collectors guide but this book is pure Herb. As I recall we were always aware of it but Herb would not allow it to be copied during his lifetime. ::Neil::

    Thanks Neil.

Herb not allowing his work to be copied during his lifetime adds a sense of mystery to the work. Good stuff.
