Petromax 828 /829 Age : 1/9 = January 1939 Fuel : Kerosene Preheating : Rotating rapid preheater, kerosene The name plate has been replaced by its own from the well - known dealer Arnold Otte, who lives in Bochum. So I don't really know whether it is the Petromax 828 or the Petromax 829.A 500 HK jet was installed. On the models with rotary preheaters, the hole was inside the collar. All later models had the rapid outside the collar. In this models, the collar found a good hold in an all-round bead on the tank. Regards Reinhard
Thanks Jeff, This Petromax was always kept in a wooden box, that's why it's so well preserved. Regards Reinhard
What a nice example. I could never find something like that in my area. I noticed that in the 1930s, E+G had already started using bakelite/phenolic resin pricker wheels. I mean other than the fibre/pertinax wheels.
