There is much discussion of Tilly cocks on this site but far less on the topic of Vapalux jet cleaners.
Ignoring the E41 (which I have not had the privelige of inspecting) I have noticed that there are two types - ones that go all the way round and those that do not. Some have removable fuel uptakes. Today while investigating a slight leak I noticed that the jet cleaner on Vapalux M1 (Non MOD) has a rubber seal inside it. The Jet cleaner on my 300X rattles about like a brick in a top hat. Both work well.
Can anyone elighten me as to the different types and variations ?

    Chris

The Vapalux pricker controls which turn all the way around are the earlier ones and both types require gland nut washers/seals.

@JEFF JOHNSON - Sorry Jeff. I should have been more explicit. The seal I saw in this one is inside the body "inline" with the vapouriser- not the gland seal.
    cheers

Hello Chris, no worries and some images would help.

Jet cleaner on my M1 - you can just about make out the rubber seal inside the body. I noticed it because it "clicks" as the pad goes past it. Lamp works fine.

The lamp may work fine but that seal doesn't belong there. Only the person responsible for putting it there will know the reason why.

Hello Chris, Henry is correct and your images cleared up the confusion.
