How far would you travel for a lamp?

    I believe someone did, they were considering posting it and then stopped communicating, so I presume that means someone a lot closer made the trip.

    That was the second one I’ve spotted this year. The first came up locally and sold so fast that I assume the buyer must have known what it was. The seller told me that there was a lot of interest at the $20 asking price.

    Neither have appeared on CPL, but as we know more people browse the site than post.

    There are professional drivers that collect and deliver antiques from auction houses and the like all over and they don't charge an arm and a leg..

    ...I daresay some folks on here will use them?

    @bp4willi agree with you! I let the postal people ride shotgun for me! I can't do much else. If you get a good shipping company you stay with them and let them do the "foot work". Some cases it will cost a few marks/euros etc but worth it in the long run!
