hello. i guess this would be a good time for me to introduce myself. my name is patrick. some may know me from the CCF. i kept my username the same as the CCF on this site. first things first- i collect all types of lanterns except electric ones. i cant stand electrified lanterns. its just sad. oh and as ive had to say on the CCF, im 19 years old. the lanterns are the old things. i didnt consider that people would think im old when seeing my username  . as of now ive got about 186 lanterns. i began collecting about 6 yrs ago and live in michigan. i am ICCC member #1182. ill stop explaining myself as this post would be very long if i kept going. i think im gonna like being part of the site. looks like a nice place to be!

ok ill get pictures up later. i post mainly from my phone and even though its android powered it wont let me use the direct upload thing. does photobucket work on this forum because i know how to do it and i wont be asking everyone "how do you use it?" i dont want to be a bother because i see that you guys are not using any hosting sites

Hello Patrick, it's best crop your photos as much as possible and then use the free image optimiser on this website, the tab is at the top of the page.

It's fairly simple to use, Jeff.

 Yep, but remember forum-preferred size is 640 pixels along the longest side - otherwise it gets difficult for me old eyes to see the details...
