I'd like to say I knew what I was looking at when I made a deal on a few lanterns a while ago but that would be far from the truth. Still feeling my way around all of the variations of certain Coleman lantern series. Regardless, with the help of a few more knowledgeable fellow collectors over at CCF was able to pin this one down as a 427K "Mountie". Was missing the little priming cup but had the shorter vent and the dimples on the air tube as well as the brass sleeve insert in the burner tube for kero burning. I was pretty happy to officially join the "Mountie " Club! :)

Was a pretty easy fettle just permanently borrowed a priming cup from a kero lamp swapped out the cap gasket and did a dunk test. All good to go and after tying a couple on fueling pumping and priming away it went. Burns real well and is nice and bright! Now I just need a good mica for this one.
