    Hello everyone
My name is Chote in Thailand.
The first time there was a Wards Western Field lamp.

Inquiries for the year of production of Wards Western Field lamp.
Is it specified at the lamp?

Montgomery Wards was a chain of department store in the US that ceased operation in 2000. Your lantern was made by Thermos and labeled for Montgomery Ward. You have a very nice example that appears to be unfired. There are some O-ring seals in the Thermos pumps that can be a problem. Go to the Coleman Collectors Forum Coleman Collectors Forum and search on thermos pump. You will find several threads there on replacing the O-rings. Old Coleman Parts has the O-rings OldColemanParts.com :: Other Brand Parts :: Thermos Pump O Ring Set
Even though the collar says "Burns any Gasoline" only use Coleman Fuel or whatever the available equal in your country is. Automobile gas will quickly clog the generator and Thermos generators are much harder to find than is a Coleman generator.

The seller said The last number specified in the manual is the production year.
    I'm not sure.

This lantern was made by King Seeley Thermos. Thermos lanterns date from 1960 to 1984 when lamp production ceased. So 1967 as a production date for this is very likely correct. Nice looking lanterns which can work very well. ::Neil::
