    Michel,

    Nice lamp !
I wonder how high they where placed. When you need some ladder to fire it up or to needle it...

You can use the tank fom a swiss bvb burner kit as tank for a hollow wire system.
These cooking kits turn up a reasonable prices.

    Michel,

Its a swiss military double stove burner. For cooking large scale.
They operate on a steel pressure tank build for gasoline.
So this tank is made to use with a hollow wire system.

The burners with tank fit in the grey box in the background. Including spare parts and tools.
The other stuff in the picture are for the actual cooking and keeping warm (Left box).
On the german ebay you find them rather cheap. The swiss army had to pay to much to dump/recycle because for the pressure tanks. So they where sold in hugh numbers in the swiss dump stores.
The picture is from a dutch army store which only sells the burner for 20 euros.

No, I have no idea why only the burner and not the rest..

Cheaper and faster: you can use a scrapped tank from any lantern. Yes, it will be little and ugly perhaps, but it will do the job.
