    Before and after.

My Great Grandpa apparently bought this brand new, and used it for logging in Washington State, it then passed on to my Grandpa, and then to my Dad, then to me once he saw I liked Coleman.

Not only have you done a beautiful restoration, but having the entire history of your lantern is something most of us can only dream about. Excellent!

Nice example of a fairly rare lantern. The fall of 1926 is about the last of those long pump tubes and it also has to be the first production lantern made with a green hood. Nothing truly special about the model or hood but as a combination of an ending and a begining it is a nice piece of history of the lamp as well as a great family story. ::Neil::

Sean. Ah yes with that rather nice old Beetle. You might remind your dad that it is his most important duty to support his offspring by mailing good stuff over the pond. ::Neil::
