1928 - 1932 Nagel Chase model 17

    Model 17 is 300 cp gasoline lantern made by Nagel Chase in the late 1920s to about 1933. This one came from a fire station in Holland and has a ring fitting which was to attach the pump although my example is missing the top ring. The burner image below is the same as in this lantern although this image is actually from a table lamp of the same period. The same burner as fitted to model 17 has a longer valve spindle to reach beyond the globe cage. ::Neil::
