here is a 5080 pressure lamp from Lilor
it runs with gasoline or kerosene and even with a mix of the two fuels
If you want to know more, go and see here ; sorry it is in French (but you have a translator on the first page)

    Smart lantern!

It's marked essence as well as petrol and if I recall correctly, that means that meths can also be used for fuel? Jeff.

    Beautiful lamp Michel.

The burner looks familiar, I see no access to the vaporizer tip; has it got a built in pricker?

    Jeff,
It is a bit confusing with the terminology. Petrole is the French for kerosene/paraffin and essence stands for gasoline/petrol; no meths here except for pre heating ;)
Nice looking example you have there Michel . This is a very nice lantern, I have one myself and you can see it in the Reference Gallery.

John, there is a build in pricker on this lantern, controlled by the black knob on the side. There is no positive fuel shut off valve.
