    Hi all,

This is my 1930 example of the Primus 1015/2 lamp. Most has been said of this lamp model from the earlier other posts and there is already a post of an identical lamp (U 1930) from Christer. Note the lack of "lip" on the upper part of the handle one can see on Christer´s lamp. That lip was introduced during 1930, according to Nils, so probably my lamp is an early 1930 example.

Yes I'm sure there weren't many of the changes that happened exactly on the 1st January. :) The version of the burner you have was also introduced in 1930, so you have the old handle and the new burner. Maybe that puts it in the middle of the year?

Nice lamp btw. The shade on these is quite elegant I think.

Yes one of the best looking in the 10 inch opal shade category. I think Primus had glanced west when making the design for this configuration. Surely looks similar in design to many American nickel plated /10 inch opal shade lamps ; as Coleman CQ, Akron 102, Nulite 110M, Radiolite, Nagel Chase 10 and others.
Here´s an image with my 1015/2 together with a carbide lamp, the AB Pyro No. 60 lamp with a similar shade.
