    Here is my example of an AL-11, it was found in Lincolnshire and it has seen a lot of use, the pressure indicator has been soldered over and the pressure release screw is missing.

    Fortunately, the thread for the pressure release screw, is the same as the bolt which holds the bottom of an R-1 handle to the base rim of the tank, so I used one of those and a rubber washer, which has a steel washer on top of it to seal off that aperture.

    The pump is a very good pressure release when that action is required.

    This lamp does work and it gives a fine beam of light, but the solder joint around the tank needs to be repaired.

    So this lamp is in rough order, but they are not that common, so I'm glad to have an example, Jeff.
