1935 Primus 995/4

    This is a 200 cp kerosene table lamp but I am not sure which version of 995 this is. I have it catalogued as 995/2 with an enamelled reflector and 995/4 with an opal globe. This one appears to be fitted with a gallery ring for a parchment type shade and I don't have any paper to indicate what the suffix number might be. It is marked Z for 1935.

    This ring is actually for the glass shade. It is so there can be a bit of cooling between the lamp top and the glass shade to avoid cracking. That means this lamp will be the /4 option.

    So far I have not seen either a glass shade or the specific enamell shade for the /2 option. Both are pictured in catalogues though, so we do know what they looked like.
