Here is my model 882 table lamp. Type Op because it is fitted with the clip to hold an opal globe. These are 200 cp kerosene lamps and not at all common. Only made between 1937 and about 1940 They were sold in the UK by independant retailers as Petromax and by Aladdin industries as Aladdin-Petromax but imports stopped in mid 1939 so here they are mostly from 1937 and 1938. However this one came from Germany so could just be up to 1941.

Why I can see two different kind of knobs? One fiber and the other plastic.

Because I can do stupid things now and then. Wim and I bought two of these and when they arrived at Wim's place he gave me images of both while we sorted out which one each of us kept. Being old and marginally senile I managed to keep the wrong images. The plastic wheel one is mine the other must be in Holland still. Sorry about that. I will go photograph the right one and edit the post. Good call. ::Neil::
