Made in 1940 (AE) this 1020 looks almost like an Radius 119.

    It is in beautiful condition!
Interesting that it has the black and not the metal knob and that the tank filler cap and pump position is in the early style but no sign of the blanked off pressure indicator fitting.

The filler cap style, removal of the manometer fitting, adding the shield to the preheater cup and change to the small bakelite knob happened around 1937/1938. So apart from the filler cap, this lantern is correct for the period.

Oh sorry i borrowed the fuel cap from another Primus 1020 since the one that came with the lantern was dried out, what differ between the caps ? old versus new style ?

basically there are three styles of the filler cap. Pre 1934 they were flat with a separate screw. Between 1934 and approximately 1937 they were flat with a raised boss in the centre to capture the screw. From 1938 on the centre boss had a radius on it all the way to the edge of the cap.
