This is a table lamp made by Kopsen in Sydney and is a pretty direct copy of a Tilley TL10. It appears that for a short time around 1946/7 the Aus government stopped imports of Tilley and the main importers and retailers of Tilley in Aus, W. Kopsen & Co. Pty Ltd. Sydney, and T.S. Nettlefold & Sons Pty Ltd. Melbourne, began to make their own versions of the major sellers in both their factories. This is Kopsens model which came to me complete with a genuine Tilley shade from the late 1930s. Some parts are actually either Tilley or in house copies but there are variations between the two Aus made lamps and the Tilleys they were copying. ::Neil::
