1941 TILLEY AL21 TYPE 1

    This is the first type of the AL21 took over after the AL11 series about 1940 only had pricker control cock and a air release on the tank

    This is the same lamp as the one I posted with the signalling device fitted. Nice old beast. Have you had it running? ::Neil::

    Yes i knew that thought i had better post one without the device fitted. This on does run great it had a mantle on till i tried to dust it for the pictures :rage:

    Was quite a bad way when i got it the tank had blown and pushed the reflector in towards the mantle so a bit of big hammer and replacement reflector and its great now dont know how they managed to get it in that state tho.

    It wanted posting without the signaling gizmo for sure but as the frame on that is bolted on using the door glass bolts it is a pain to remove so I didn't bother. Nice to see it shown in original configuration because this is how it will normally be seen. ::Neil::
