    Hi All
This steel tank Vapalux HD 44 hand lamp with the straighter type of frame came to me in this wooden box which was made for a Tilley Hospital lamp with spares shown in photo, not sure if reflector is correct for time or if it’s a newer one been added later.

Hi ! Great looking lamp with or without the reflector. The reflector you have on this lamp was the one piece heaverly enamelled version and they were packed in a card board package. Of which I have seen hundreds in army surplus stores but like every lamp item no longer do you see the spares, everything for pressure lamps " Sold " !!
    Question ?
I have one of these reflectors in a card board package, I'm sure you all know the ones I mean
    with AM Stores Ref.no.21C / 1604
    Date packed 9 May 1949
any one else out there got an earlier package ?

    Hi Mick
Just had a look at two I have and July and Nov 1949 so no joy there.

The older reflectors if they are older measure 12 inch diameter and the newer as fitted to this lamp measure 11 inch.
