    Hello everyone !

Here we have a Primus 1082, surprisingly made back in 1948 (AM 20) It seems to me that the lantern is all original, or atleast all Primus, but i'm a little courious regarding the vapourizer since it looks brand new, but the lantern was clearly used and fettled with.
The vapourizer has two removable rinse plugs by the ends of the loop and is fully chromed or nickel plated and was fitted with a 250cp jet and needle.
The needle control wheel is probably of a slightly later date and lacks that metall arrow normaly seen on these wheels.

Anyways, a very nice lantern to have, and runs quite good too !

    Regards / Frederik

The lantern looks to be in very good condition. Probably not used much.

The outer part of the first and second type wheels are very similar, so it could be the first type with the inner ring fallen out. You really need both side by side to see the difference.

That vapouriser does look strange. I have never seen anything like it. If it is original, then it could have been a first try by Primus which they dropped straight away. Another possibility is that it is a prototype or advertising lantern for the coming model to be released the following year. All speculation though.

Could be, it would be rather typical Primus, using rinse plugs, i'm thinking of similar soultions on for example the 1050/1051 burner, and demo, well' yes it's chromed for some reason.

My wheel looks exactly like the wheel in this post http://0flo.com/index.php?posts/1092

    Minus the arrow.
