I don't have a model number for this lantern. It is a 500 cp kerosene lantern and a fair copy of a Petromax. Made by Aurora Industria. Argentina. Probably made under licence but Aurora may just be copies. It has an unusual three piece filler cap pressure release which is a style normally only seen on American product.

Probably just copies with some differences in order to avoid licenses: the filler cap, filler cap and pump threads and the pump inserted on the tank in a different angle than a Petromax. Could it be? Juan.

I am not sure when these were made but I guess 1950s perhaps. If so them most of the patents would have expired long since so there would be no problems there. Differences in copies then tend to be engineering decisions made in the factory rather than attempts to avoid litigation. ::Neil::
