Optimus is not a common brand in Argentina but I found this on mercadolibre (the local auction site) a few days ago for a little money, less than US$ 30, and as the seller had to travel to my city I didn't pay for the postage. No globe and I had to replace the pump leather and the cap gasket and that's all.
It has a 200 cp jet and, when compared against a regular 930-300 cp it makes less light, as you can see on the picture near the lantern that Neil sent to me some time ago: what you see is the actual output difference; more orange light but this is due to the mantle, I guess.

I would have thought a 200 cp jet was way too small for this lantern. ::Neil::

Well, it is marked 200 and the lantern burns well making a nice blue flame when the mantle is not present. The output difference between both lanterns is noticeable!

    Hello Juan, nice lantern!

Perhaps it would perform better if a bulge glass was fitted to it, a Coleman small bulge glass will do.

The link below shows the 930 lanterns with bulge glasses, Jeff.

Yes, nice lantern, thank you. I have got a Coleman 201 spare globe, but I want to preserve it. I guess that the straight globe doesn't affect the performance; do you?

Well, regarding the lantern itself, to have got just one 930 is enough to me but, as I knew that this model is scarce, I couldn't let it go.

Congratulations on the lantern. This version was only made for a couple of years from 1954, so you don't see them too often.

The glass shouldn't have any effect on the performance. I think it was more a design question to use it.

The burner parts are the same dimensions as the Optimus 200, so a 200 jet should be fine. I tend to find a 350 jet is almost too much, even though it does work. Maybe a good compromise would be a 250 jet.
