    Hi

Finished fettling this lamp tonight. Cleaned the tank and vaporiser. Still has to clean the green top which has some rust to it.This as an easy lamp to fettle. No air gap to adjust nor any adjustment of the needle.Got the glass from Pelam and jet/needle from Fogas. After one preheat the lamp fired up. No problem at all. Reused the pumpleather. As you can see from the last photo the lamp gives out a lot of light.

Well done. That is exactly how I would expect a 1020 to behave.

What do you intend doing with the green top Bjorn?

    Thanks all
I want more of these 1020s and maybe a 991 also.

I will clean it and leave it as it is. If I knew of a source for applying a new coat of enamel, I would try that. But it is always a question of cost.

From what I can see, that top is quite good. Or at least better than most. I wouldn't be worrying about that one.
