This is the third and final major variation of the 252. It was most likely introduced in 1957 along with all the other changes that Optimus made that year. This variation continued the use of a standard lantern tank with the lantern number on it. In this case 200P. The control wheel is now the new style introduced on almost all of Optimus lamps and lanterns. All burner parts are taken directly from the 200P except the vaporiser and cleaning needle rod. These are longer to allow for the size of the globe. It is not known when they stopped producing this lamp, but I doubt it made it into the sixties.
