1957 Tilley X410

    This is the older type of small lantern. Model X410 does not have the model number marked on the tank and has a two air tube burner. This example is date stamped for April 1957. I have the box for this one and have included an image of the box label. ::Neil::

    April 1957 but in a Dunmurry box - sounds like they had the tanks held in stock for several years.

    My X410A (August 1964) is in a box with exactly the same label.

    We can make a fair guess that they had these tanks in stock for years. They used some to make the LD MkII leak detectors. LD Tanks marked as X410 or X410A turn up with the large instruction decal over the old tank stamping. ::Neil::
