Hello all here is my Tilley R55 Heater Lamp, I've decided I will leave as is except for the reflector which I have polished up, wow the R55 gives off a tremendous amount of heat compared to the R1 Heater, which I did expect but not as much as she actually does well worth having one that's for sure.
Dont get me wrong I still love my Tilley R1's that I have.
So here are some photos thanks.

A real beauty with a large font, should run for a long time. My Kayen heater is proving mighty useful in the workshop, we are still in wintery chills.

Theoretically the R55 will be producing the same amount of heat as the R1 (all things being equal) as it used the same burner, vapouriser, and fuel. But the reflected heat may be different.

    Your R55 is looking great!

    Cheers

Yes that's what I thought until I ran an R1 and R55 side by side. so I would say there is a big difference, also the shed gets alot warmer with the R55, unless it's the vaporiser?
