Decided to try one of these out, having heard all about the "fun" they can be even to make run correctly. Slightly cripsed glass on one quadrant. Lucky it all fits together. I had heard that when they run poorly sometimes one can remove the brass plugs in the air tubes. Nope, ran worse. Plugged the hole again and it fires up pretty well. A bit of flaming and fussing but once the roar is going you know it's there. A worthy addition to the collection.
