I first saw this lamp advertised on an online classified ad, priced for the seller to enjoy storing it a bit longer. The seller stated that this lamp had a hard working life in a sheep shed somewhere on the UK south coast.
Eventually it appeared on eBay and I won the auction at a price I was happy with.
It had certainly had some knocks, but appeared to be a fairly low hours lamp, the burner came up like new with a quck rinse in hot cider vinegar solution. It did have a blockage in the middle of the Preston loop which may explain short working life.
The fettle was pretty straightforward, the collar was badly cracked so I found a replacement online, I swapped the pressure gauge for an Efar branded one. The preheat dish was from a Korean seller on eBay and the glass is a modern petromax one.
It now runs beautifully and is nice and bright.
    Enjoy the pics
    James
