I tend to purchase a lot of incomplete lamps. In my mind I believe with enough time and patience that I can learn everything I need to know about repairing and reproducing almost any missing part.

A couple of days ago I saw this partial Polar inverted for sale; I was able to talk the seller down to a price I was comfortable with and the deal was struck.

    Here’s the funny part.

This lamp is badged Leipzig; that’s the whole reason I purchased it.

Today while checking the tracking; look at this.

On its way to me; it has stopped at “home”.

DHL worldwide with this one, pretty straight line from Mumbai to Leipzig; must be a shipping hub there.
