    Pretty standard fettle of removing many years of cigarette smoke, resoldering the pickup tube & cleaning dried up fuel. Fun one!! Thanks for looking :thumbup:

    Reproduction shades BTW.

    Thanks for the kind words everyone.

    @Tony Press I'm not a positive on the date. Matching burner setups, but the B stamped valve wheels & 2nd generation Quicklite mixing chambers would be 1923 vintage whereas the double patent stamp air tubes would be 1924 or later... So either leftover parts used in 24 or replacement air tubes for 23? We may never know :) Typical early Coleman riddle :thumbup:

    Very fine! :thumbup::thumbup:

    You say reproduction, and I’ve asked before, but are shades like this available from a specialist type of shop over there? ... something similar or equivalent to J. Moncrieff in the Uk ??

    Good work on a very nice find.

    @Toby Garner

    This one may have some Amish owner history ?

    @podbros thank you. The last I knew the Leacock Coleman center still sold the old 329 reproductions. I myself have not ordered one, but others seem pleased with their purchase.

    Shade 10" White

    @coleman54 Larry you could certainly be right. I purchased it over the weekend from an over the road retiree. He told me he had owned it 25+ years, but that's just a short time of this old lamps life. He had told me he used it in their living room to light it and their kitchen. As well as a bit of a heat source. All I know is the fuel was a black gel with a brown fuel layer under that :) those that just fire right up are no fun anyhow :D

    Beautiful to the point of quite stunning.
    Well done.
    I would love to find one of these beauties but alas, few and very far between here in Australia.
    Enjoy

    A lovely lamp and with twin double mantle burners would sure be bright.
