    Hi all,

here you can see another interisting pressure lamp. (See photos)
Does anyone know for which countries/markets that lamp was designed?
I would be happy for any help.

    Best regards
    Alfons

The emblem on the fount reminds me of the old Egyptian flag.
On the other hand this doesn't seem to match with the Asian Kanjis and the Chinese sounding words...

I have this comany listed in the PLC. ::Neil::

My-Quang et Cie. Cho Binh Tay (Binh Tay market) or (平西市场. Cholon) Saigon, Vietnam (French Indo China)
This company were sole agents for Aida in Vietnam and a major retailer for the area. Labels with their logo of Moon and Stars is frequently found on Aida product they sold.

Binh Tay is the official name of the biggest market in Ho Chi Min City which is in the Chinese quarter although the Chinese called it Cho Lon which simply means Big Market. All the product seems to be Aida and has decals added with the My-Quang logo. The company name is registered in French which implies the company was registered when Vietnam was a French colony and part of French Indo China. This means that the company was set up before 1954 when French influence in Vietnam ended. (Info from Col Seksan Khusuwan)

Absolutely "seul agent" is the traduction of "sole agent"
in French, we could say : "agent exclusif"
and Ho Chi Min was Saïgon
