Not sure if it is all original and certainly in need of some refurbishment.
Looks complete to me. It has suffered a bit but still a nice thing. Has the slot to convert to AL16 as well. Looks like a good project. ::Neil::
Excellent project, they are great indoor working lamps
The heat-shield is inverted, of course. Beats me why folk replace them like that...
Like this do you mean David?
Graham P mentions a rod that fits into the slot in the top frame of the mica globe holder to keep the globe from swinging back. Has anyone ever seen one?
Yes I have a couple. Looks like this.
Might have known!
Those pins tend to break off right at the burner.
Have a close look at your 2 air tube burners Jean, you may have one.
Some pins are longer than others too.
1/8" Brass rod, spot of silver solder, not a bad job to replace
Thanks Anthony and Alec, it seems to have broken off at the burner right enough so John will see what he can do.
Keep us posted on progress.
I believe they are threaded in.
I’ve had a new cowl made and meantime there is a screw holding the mica shade frame in place. We’ll replace it sometime.
