    No if's and no but's Nigel, you will be there. :D

    David accommodation is no problem, public camping is £35 Thursday until Monday, or bring some lamps and camping is free. Trevor can still sleep with you aswell if he wants. :lol:

    I will be there. Got a bottle of the sloe gin to help keep the cold out. Oh and a few lamps to play with and sell.

    If THEY paid ME £1,000,035, I still wouldn't camp in that field. =;

    ...and you can sleep with Trevor - he's a crap kisser and his moustache tickles... =; =; =; =; =;

    I don't know what wrong with you, is it that it gets a bit squidgy under foot when it's rained or what? :-k :D
    I bet Trevor would say the same about your beard David. ;) :lol:

    Camping on a 45 degree slope with foot-high grass underneath the tent, dodgy facilities and cold, wet weather. What's not to like, eh... ;) :lol:

    On top of that, my 65-year old waterworks say NO! =;

    Sorry David if we new you were so put out you could have gone on the cricket pitch in the next field after we had rescued you after following your dodgy sat nav the two tilleys you displayed in the caravan was a real boost to the show :D/ :D/

    I wasn't put out at all, Stan, but then I was in a caravan that year. The problem wasn't the satnav, BTW, but a combination of a poorly placed street name sign and me slavishly following the written directions to the venue - I'd switched off the satnav by then as the directions advised.

    The following year in a cottage was somewhat better but it wasn't within walking distance and someone had to drive.

    This year, in a tent - as I said, I can't do it for medical reasons... :cry:

    Sorry David if I misinterpreted your comments I just thought you were being a little harsh after I had tried to make your visit a pleasant and comfortable one
    Cheers Stan

    You did, Stan - thanks again. :thumbup:

    All I was saying in response to Matt was that the camping conditions are a little too arduous for me, personally. It's also a bit late in the year for me, what with the weather and such. But plenty of others (e.g. Mick, Pete, Matt, Si) camp there and have no problem. I've been to the show twice and enjoyed it both times - I'd recommend it to anyone and I appreciate the time and effort you and the other organisers put in. Hope that puts the record straight... :thumbup:

    Oh yes, bit foggy driving up, but once it lifted the sun came out and it's been a beautiful day. Should be the same again tomorrow. Just shared a small sloe gin or two with Nigel and now I'm ready to turn in for the night. Luckily I've got internet up here so I can get my eBay fix before I go to sleep. :lol: :lol:

    Great news the weathers good, the forecast looks to be dry over the weekend for you all too ! Good you've got internet Matt, means we won't have to wait so long for some pics ;)

    The weather being clement and camping on the cricket ground possible, I had every intention of pitching up for the weekend. Then something else turned up for tomorrow...

    But have a great weekend, everyone and let's have plenty of pics! :thumbup:

    That's my fake one with the Aladdin base, but probably a year or so. It's a good runner with that batwing burner. The Al21 was looking a bit poorly in that picture, but a vapouriser swap sorted that out. The veritas isn't too happy either, but I'm not sure what's wrong with that. :-k

    :lol: :lol: :lol: that's really cool ! Once you compare it to the LRG pics, you can see the differences with the twist etc, but initially yep :thumbup: really cool Mate ;)
    As for the veritas :-k :-#

    Nope [-(

    I have tried it, I lasted a month, got fed up reading other people's drivel :roll:

    Guess in the right application it's probably a good thing, but in my case, I found I was reading what people had for dinner, and what they thought of their ex wife/husband G/F B/F etc etc etc =; [-X [-(

    Wasn't for me I'm afraid ;)

    Oh well :whistle:
