    Hi Tony .
    They are a nice lantern but don't like the plastic air release screw.that one can be a shelf queen cause we know how bright your others are .

    I don't like the plastic pressure release screw either. I was thinking of making a brass replacement.

    You can see on my other post that the older Austramax 3/300 has the metal air release screw.

    I'm not keen on that plastic pressure release screw either, Jeff.

    Two very nice looking lanterns, I all so don't like the plastic pressure release screw, it really makes the lantern look tacky and cheap.
    I would go a head and make a brass replacement, but still keep the plastic one just for originality sake
