    Hi thete fellas, as discussed the other day Couger lantern.
    This one i bought a few weeks ago. Didnt pay much attention to it until discussed in the forum.
    I have noted.
    The screw nut is aluminum.
    The burner part is painted black.
    The globe has Austramax on one side and Jena__er Suprax Glass, schott, mainz.
    Made in Germany.
    Couger label is a sticker
    Green lid, no other writing on fountwriting on collar is golg looking.
    All in all looks just like my 3/300 Austramax. 20190129_100918.jpg 20190129_100955.jpg 20190129_101103.jpg 20190129_101220.jpg 20190129_101307.jpg 20190129_101455.jpg 20190129_101555.jpg 20190129_101555.jpg 20190129_101455.jpg 20190129_101307.jpg 20190129_101220.jpg 20190129_101103.jpg 20190129_100955.jpg 20190129_100918.jpg

    @Darryl Durdin

    Thanks.

    Definitely a "Cougar"-branded Austramax.

    Cheers

    Thanks for posting your Cougar Darryl. A couple of questions.

    Does it say Cougar or Austramax on the control wheel?

    Are you sure there isn't any faint stamping on the tank above the sticker?

    Could the black paint on the burner just be bad sooting?

    @Darryl Durdin

    Thanks Darryl, will you please check the pressure bleed screw. Is it a tapered seal or a plastic seal on the end of the shaft?
