I wanted to get my wife's birthday lantern. Not much available in 4/52 but I discovered that Coleman did make the 200A in that month. It was pretty nasty when I found it, but the lantern cleaned up nicely. Replaced the chipped vent. I painted the fount in regular spray can paint and also the black collar and frame in heat resistant paint. Baked them both in my oven. Then I got the bright idea to put on a partial light shade that Coleman still sells. Very shortly the reflected heat melted down my beautiful paint job on the fount. AHHHHHH! Stripped it again and this time painted with brake caliper heat resistance paint. Threw away the light reflector. Starts and burns nicely.
