I sacrificed an old vaporiser to make one of these so I can use the ice trick to remove dents from founts. The central hole is almost exactly 2.5mm which is perfect to tap out to 3mm.

With a 3mm machine screw tightened into place I expect it to hold pressure but if it doesn't I can always add a blob of solder to the top.

I bought a job lot of old vaporisers and control valves a while back thinking they'd come in handy!
