    Hi all,
This is the C-B Lighting Co. (Milwaukee) table lamp and is shown in a magazine ad in 1908
(courtesy Coleman54 (Larry)). The address for this company is for an office complex in Milwaukee (according to Neil), so not a manufacturing company! Most likely a dealer.

This lamp is probably manufactured by The Tures Mfg., Milwaukee. On Terry Marsh website
you can see a lamp with the same very special tank design. The only difference is that the base stand plate on that lamp is round instead of on my lamp ....four winged.
That other lamp has a definite Tures burner assemble that can be seen on lamps in Tures papers.

I received this lamp in an incomplete condition. The air intake with air adjuster tube was missing. The gas burner assembly and chimney, shade, mantle and the holders were also missing.
With the help of the rough sketch from the 1908 ad, I could see how it would look like when complete.
A pressure test indicated a crack in the upper part of the tank and also a stuck pick up fuel tube. So a lot of job to get it complete and in a working order. I finally managed and here is the result. The burner ran a bit rich, as many of these old timer lamps do. Probably an enlarged jet. I can live with that ... now that I have a working, very old and cool lamp!

    /Conny
