Ha! a second 321, while still basking in the warm glow of the one I already have.

Not the original globe, but the Schott is a match, size wise.

This one was missing the ID and operating instruction label on the tank, but before tackling that I checked and serviced the ‘internals’. A dunk in the ultrasonic cleaner tank and a smear of silicone grease on the control spindle O-ring and all was well.

I managed to get hold of some #99 mantles, correct for the model.

So, replacing the missing label. Firstly, I photographed each of the five panels on my other 321 lantern. Obviously trying to get a shot of the label in its entirety would introduce extreme distortion and out-of-focus effects.

I then assembled them, electronically, in a Word doc and printed the result (two of) on decal paper.

I confess that before that successful example I got the colour balance wrong - too pale.

    Corrected on the final print.

Waterproofing and durability of the label was ensured with a couple of coats of clear lacquer.

They’re an excellent lantern, living up to the claim of ‘Easi-Lite’.

Nicely done, John. One of my favorite "newer" lanterns. The blue color is sweet!
