Optimus 1200 is not so common in this side of the pond, this was a bit used when I bought it but after a little love it came out pretty good. The 8r in the other case are very popular here in the states.

That halffrosted glass cylinder is very nice. Dims the brightnes a bit but still lets You be able to check it.

Anyone having sandblastered one with success?

    Regards Matti from Sweden

Yes, I have sand blasted some glasses. Well, not actually sand blasted, but rather glass bead blasted, which is a bit "nicer" to the material being blasted.
These are easy to blast with good result.
Also easy to mask off parts you still want to have clear visibility through.

Hi @Pancholoco1911 I thought that you have an American Col-Max out there  It is interesting how different models/brands are considered common/uncommon/cheap/expensive depending on the location. I have not seen any 8r in Poland for sale, but we have zilion soviet copies of them.
    all the best,
    Piotrek

@Piotrek i do have 3 Col-Max here and all three are 333 and two of them are Canadians but only one works, the other is Made in USA and have some pinholes unfortunately and a stress fracture that can get fixed but time has not been affordable.
