    Hello and welcome aboard!

The 201 is a good small paraffin/kerosene lantern, Jeff.

Thanks Jeff, seems like a natural progression from starting on CCS.

I just love old fire breathers of all kinds. Sane people just don't get it LOL.

A very nice lantern with an interesting history. Probably part of the aid given by the US Gov't. Does anyone know what the Hebrew character signifies? Military unit, civil defense?

    Ian,
I see it has been along time since you posted this, but I am hoping you still have the IDF 201, and that you might be able/willing to email me some pictures of the IDF symbol.
I bought one on eBay from Israel that the symbol was mostly scratched off and painted over. I want to create a stencil to restore my lantern.

    Thanks,
    Reggie
