Because why not?!
Left to right...
237 (1952), 639B (1997), 639 (1972)
Yes, why not? They are shining brightly.
And a C 237 is on my list, so nice to see.
That’s a fine line up!!
A question: are all 3 using the same type of mantle? The 639 on the right seems to be a bit more yellowish compared the 237 and 639B.
A fine trio!
A nice set Sir, perfect! Massive fan of these.
Nice trio! I own two 237’s and three 639C’s, C’s are new still boxed
Lookin good @Buckaroo
Good question @Brenneman , I was hoping someone might ask so omitted from original post.
The 237 and 639B are running Peerless Type III (Yttrium), and the 639 is running a Fargo mantle.
I like those Fargo mantles for their toughness and ease in fitting. They are a bit yellowish in the light they emit, but great for a working lantern. I use them a lot.
I own a 635 (converted to kero) and a 639 and they are powerful lanterns! In a powercut they'll be first on duty, followed by the Anchor 950's!
