My latest project; Coleman 249 Scout. I used parts from 3 lamps. Spray painted The fount with RAL paint.

Thanks, I´m quite happy with it. I can´t remove the check valve, unless i purchase a tool. It´s about 35$ with shipping.. But it works.

    Another transformation!!

The chrome and black do set each other off well

Was that found locally at all?

    cheers

ps I like the steel finish on the cage
Most of the ones I see are quite pitted

I bought the lamp from a guy not far from here who has collected lamps for decades. I got a new second-hand top, the rest I have sanded by hand, and the fount I polished with Autosol.
