Coleman 286A (286A703; March 1989)

This is a Coleman 286A703 dated made in March 1989. It is "dimmable" by use of the control wheel.

Found in Australia.


It came with a Schott glass but I exchanged it for a Coleman glass in later photos.





The colour is a darker red (almost maroon) than the standard red Coleman colour. It is quite variable visually depending on ambient light. The following photos are after a light clean up and test-firing it.
