Thanks for sharing the photographs!
Is that sand or snow in the pictures?
It's pure white sand. We stayed to watch the sunset.
Nice pics, Thanks for sharing.
Very nice. Did you stay after sunset?
We certainly did but the sun sets just around the corner so you can't see it so we'll, but it's a beautiful spot anyway.
Just thought that you might have lighted up the beach for a while before leaving.
We were there with my daughter and her boyfriend but in these photos they'd gone exploring. We spent the evening cooking some food, making tea and then had a wander around the beach while the lantern lit up the trees.
A cherished evening...
Awesome spot, looks very peaceful.
It was very peaceful, although come the summer, that exact spot will be crowded with visitors 24/7. I don't mind sharing the beauty with everyone but they have a habit of leaving their rubbish behind, including complete tents and shelters! They just pack up the car and leave everything behind, it's incredibly rude and when the wind gusts (as it can on the West Coast) things end up in the sea and threatens the local wildlife... let alone the mess it creates!
There’s some thoughtless buggers in this world.......
Ah, noticed Morar is quite north in Scotland and not far from Fort Williams.
Have been there with the family in Oct 2016 on a round trip.
Beautiful, especially the Scottish wilderness, but GB is expensive. Even at hostels. Still I love a lot the Tunnocks Caramel Wafer biscuits from Glasgow. I import then from time to time.
Ha ha, the famous Tunnocks Wafers! I have them from time to time along with Romneys Kendal Mint Cake. Great outdoor rations!
Yes, I can (just!) remember the times when my wife-to-be and I went places with her parents - we also spent quite a bit of time "exploring"...
Ha ha, 'exploring'!
