Very interesting and a great save. I assume the "pad on a stick" is a pre-heater ?

Hi there i see this one listed on the bay watched your video really enjoyed it Question i see your last pic is you holding the lamp and (is that a pic of mr. coleman holding same type lamp? Reason asking is ive got an Irby no.6 and was lucky enough to get it with the original burner / chimney holder - the conventional one with the clear chimney like the one you made up. However i came across 2 other no.6's if you will made by the hydrocarbon light company , unfortunately they didn't have the burners . I'm kinda a baby and hate just fitting something that i could find on ebay on there that never originally was offered with it. However in the pic with Mr. Coleman ? that lamp has a different burner that can fit a globe on it. That style pops up from time to time on the bay and id have to measure the OD of the lamp tube and the ID of a potential burner to see if i can find one to fit - as you know that coleman lamp has a different size then most other arcs out there - i see you have others in some of your pics lol. Anyway if Mr. Coleman could represent the lamp in the pic. with that type of burner /globe ? then its sure ok for me.. Thanks Scott Ps i really enjoyed your ability /knowhow and the job you did with those lamps !!
