I simply could not get this lantern to burn like it should until the third and final tear down! It it burns fine. Still can not exactly figure out what happen... It's hard to get a good perspective on the light output but believe me, it's much better!
@george that is a spanking good lantern. P.s I am running out of words to describe the quality of the lanterns you present. They are all superb and a pleasure to see. Thank you for keeping sharing them.

@george Well done and the persistence, despite obvious disappointments the first couple of times, paid off. Looks a fantastic lantern.
